Description

BUILD YOUR OWN FISHING BELT
the way you want it !!

No support needed

this is my design for a modular fishing belt you can tailor to your own needs

The basis is the belt clip, available for 40mm and 50mm wide belts

(i got mine from : ali but any belt will do i think)

Two different connectors can be used to attach accessories to the basis
* The decagon connector which fits tight and can be fitted in multiple directions
this prevents free turning, recommended for the rod holder as it has to stay in the position you set it initially
* The round connector is ideal for accessories to freely move and is easier to remove from the basis clip,
recommended for the water bottle and the towel holder

The connectors attach to the accessories with a M3x8 screw (M3x10 also works for most parts) or you can use some glue.

They can be extra secured with a 3mm screw in the side of the basis-clip

accessories:

basic set:
* pliers holder
* flat and angled rings (for carabiners etc)
* rod holder

extra accessories:
* bottle holder
* horizontal and vertical strap holder (for example Velcro straps to hold some gloves)
* towel clamp alligator style, this one should be glued to the connector as there was no room for a screw
* multifunctional hook
* net holder (may or may not fit your net)
* magnetic plate (needs 4 pieces of 15x2 neodium magnets
* small bait box (needs 2 3mm screws to attach the lid)

EXTRA EXTRA:
Added a DIY plate which you can glue to anything you want or you can incorporate in your own design to make it compatible with the belt system.

also added an extra decagon connector which is a little bit tighter to use when the normal connector would be too loose

Print settings:
Printed everything in PETG for strength and water resistance
(don't mind the non-camouflage color as i used some petg i had laying around)
standard generic petg settings 0.16 layer height 2 walls 15% infill
no support needed ! (when having adhesion problems: CLEAN your plate !!
