UPDATE: Additional version for outer diameter of 32 cm, maximum rim width 29 mm
As I was looking for a sturdy pot as a tank and the pots I found usually had a thicker rim, I adapted the original 6-piece lid accordingly. With this lid, pots with a wall thickness of up to 28 mm can now be used (like the original up to a maximum diameter of 29 cm at the top rim) without the pot having to be machined. The lids for the pump cable and for filling in the water can be used as normal, even if a small part of the hole is covered by the thick rim of the pot.
For variant 2, I have also created plugs that can be used to cover the unused holes. But perhaps some of you might also like to use the plugs as a visual highlight. Of course, the plugs can also be used with the original cover!
The following versions are currently available:
- max. 29 cm diameter and 28 mm rim, with and without holes for mounting the LED strips (IKEA_Muskot_24cm_Petal_28mm)
- max. 32 cm diameter and 30 mm rim, with and without holes for mounting the LED strips (IKEA_Muskot_24cm_Petal_w_Hole_32-30cm)
I used this pot:

The pot in item variant 30 has the following dimensions:
Diameter top outside 28.8 cm, diameter top inside: 23.9 cm.
Due to the thick rim, it is best to drill a hole at one point of the rim with a 10 or 12 mm wood drill (from the top into the rim). This allows the water to be poured out easily and almost completely.
There is a large selection of pots on which the lid fits, both in DIY stores and on the Internet.
Simply print out the lid, take it with you to the DIY store and see which pot fits.
Printing/assembly information:
I printed everything in PETG with a layer height of 0.2 mm, 3 walls and an infill of 25%.
I connected the 6 lid parts using M5 x 20 mm screws and corresponding washers and nuts.
I printed three lid parts with a hole instead of two so that there is enough light inside when filling and you can see the fill level better.
CHANGELOG:
2024-06-02
A lid for pots with an outer diameter of 32 cm (maximum rim width 29 mm) was added on request.
Overview of the print files:
The parts are a remix of Luitzor's Modular Hydroponics Tower w/ Grow Lights on Thingiverse

I used his linked STEP files for the modifications.
MANY THANKS AT THIS POINT!
