This was requested by one of my followers, its "still in the works" because i wanted a professional archer to give it a go and give me feedback on how well it works as I'm no expert and I only shoot bows for fun.

Its intended to an all in one survival tool so i will be adding a few more accessories in the future. I also tried to use bearings in the pulleys but they didn't affect shooting much so you can def get away with just solid pulley.

Print Settings:
25% infill
8 walls on most parts except the pulley, Band Mounts & WB which I used 12 to make sure it does not flex
Supports only for the frame, NO Brim or Raft required, Long and easy print ;)

Optional Flanged Bearings x4 (F696zz)

M6 60mmL Furniture screw

Spool
M6 60mmL hex screw + Lock Nut
Bands cut 50mm from each end to give you the equivalent of a 30lb bow at 28" draw length. If you cant find the exact ones you can use any tube band with 8mm OD and 4mm ID x 180mm L... https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/trumark-slingshot-power-band-heavy-pull-rr-2.html

It is not right of you to upload something like this here without warnings, pressure profile, correct information on protective clothing or the minimum requirements for the material to be used. What you uploaded here is a weapon, so face up to your responsibility, there are a lot of children here.

well goodluck in comment on 1`00000 other files uploaded on here `` its a weapon`` a 3d printed spoon can also be a weapon... to be realistic its good to point it out but no one will see it.

To compare a spoon with a bolt driven by more than 75 newtenmeters is a bit of a misunderstanding, but the pressure and design are great. But it is a weapon in the sense of what is meant by a weapon. It should fall under the NSFW anyway, which it doesn't, so you can say a word or two to the kids and at least try to make them see reason or not?

now go around and put the same comment on every single knife on here. If you can't be consistent then sit down. People used to give children firearms are sent them into the woods, no one freaked out, the kids learned to be responsible and somewhere along the way people started to freak-out over things they shouldn't and society is worse off for it.

Seriously? You demand all this stuff and then go bust the creator for not flagging things the way you like? Can't you figure out the print settings on your own, or does everyone have to do everything for you? All the info you need is in the description.

Hey Mussy, I just saw your x-bow design and printed it straight away, I was really excited at first but unluckily it doesn't fit my hand at all. Since you're using the standard digital file license I want to make sure if it's ok to change your design for my needing. In the first and second picture you can see that I can't put my hand onto the grip at all even without the grip plates. The third and fourth picture are showing the next issue with holding the x-bow, I only have really a fixed grip in the marked blue area if I would change the bridge to the green marked area it would fit me way better and I would have the whole grip surface stable in my hand.

I used btw those print settings to make it sturdy, I tested it with staying on it and the print could easily handle my body weight of 150kg, so if anyone is worried about it would break with just a string copy the print settings and it definitely won't break, I printed it with the cheapest PLA+ Silk from Sunlu...

Would you say it is safe to make this? Can it withstand the force of the bow string? I want to make it but I'm worried it could break and come back to hit me in the face 🫣

that is the risk for sure. I have not printed or attempted it, and I've seen other people make it work, but no one discusses the filament they use or settings. or even draw weight and length, which is very important. test at your own risk.
