Description

After long-term testing and use, I found that gears with a module of 1.5 are a good choice for long-term use of 3D printed parts. They are a specification that is relatively balanced in strength and volume. Therefore, I designed a set of commonly used gears, including Spur Gears, Internal Gears, Rack Gears,90° Bevel Gear, Worm, and Worm Gears, which can basically meet daily needs.

 

经过长期测试和使用,模数1.5的齿轮是3D打印零件能长期使用的较好选择,是强度和体积比较平衡的规格,所以我设计了一套常用的套装,包括正齿轮、内齿轮、90°斜齿轮、蜗杆和蜗杆齿轮,能够基本满足日常需要。

 

Precautions 注意事项

 

3D printed gears cannot withstand high-speed movement; plastic gears have a certain degree of self-lubrication and have better smoothness after running-in. If lubricants are needed, please choose plastic-specific lubricants;

If you do not pursue a specific speed ratio, it is recommended to choose a number of teeth with no common factor for the meshing gears, so that the gears wear more evenly and have a longer life;

PLA has better deformation resistance than PETG;

To ensure strength, please use a lower speed and a smaller layer height to print;

The thickness of the gear and the length of the connecting rod can be obtained by changing the size in the slicing software.You can also adjust the gear to suit your needs by adding parts or negative parts without changing the tooth surface.

 

3D打印的齿轮不能承受高速的运动;塑料齿轮有一定的自润滑性,经过磨合有较好的顺滑度,如果需要润滑剂请选择塑料专用润滑剂;

如果不追求特定的转速比,互相啮合的齿轮建议选择没有公因数的齿数,这样齿轮磨损更均匀,有更高的寿命;

PLA比PETG有更好的抗变形能力;

为了确保强度,请使用较低的速度和较小的层高打印;

齿轮的厚度,连接杆的长度,可以在切片软件中通过尺寸改变来获得。在不改变齿面的情况下也可以通过添加零件或负零件等,来调整齿轮适用你的需求。

Great set, so far I've just printed the bevel gears but the teeth have proper geometry and all the gears from largest to smallest mesh together flawlessly.
