A quick release system for ducting that is separated by a cabinet door
My resin 3D printer is stationed inside of a cabinet with a door. I have an inline fan connected to the printer via 4 inch ducting to ventilate the fumes produced during the printing process. When the printer is not in use, I detach the exhaust side from quick release and close the cabinet door. I reattach it when the printer and ventilation system are in use.
The quick release requires FOUR 10mm diameter X 3mm height magnets. I purchased these on Aliexpress. They can be secured into the part with epoxy resin or super glue. I used super glue and have had no issues with them coming out.
