Description
Update August 8, 2024: Added v2 that is slightly larger than the original in order to fit my baby dragons a little more easily. Also added alternative egg tops with a flattened interior roof for easier bridging.
Instead of using threads to fasten the egg together, this model uses magnets! This makes it easier to align the colors of the top and bottom when using multi-color filaments and is so satisfying to open and close!
Print Instructions:
Required Hardware:
6 - 6x3mm magnets
Supports: Not required, However, if you want the inside of the egg to look neat toward the top, you might consider adding supports there.
Assembly:
When placing the magnets, ensure the magnets are placed in a way where they attract each other when closing the egg.
