Bag/purse HANGER

Design

I'm presenting you the portable bag/purse hanger, perfect for attaching to any table or desk due to the raindrop shape it has. This stylish accessory features a sturdy hook to securely hold your bag or purse, while its middle structure is adorned with intricate hexagon patterns, adding a touch of sophistication. Keep your belongings off the floor and within reach wherever you are (restaurant, school, office, meeting etc.) with this awesome designed, functional, and modern hanger.

Utility

The raindrop cut shape help this gadget to adapt to any surface that has a thickness between minimum 1 cm and maximum 5.5 cm. But for other thicknesses it can be scaled up/down as you wish. I printed it with PLA, that has a medium resistance, but for for heavier weights you can either play with the X-Y hole compensation, to make the hexagonal texture thicker/grow the infill density/print with more resistent materials like PET-G, ABS etc. Or make any combination of these options.

 

Here's how simple and quick you can use it!

Filament

The filament I used is PLA Polymaker PolyTerra Charcoal Black.

Hello I would like to print this but the time is almost 2 hours, and as I can see from Bambu Studio it is because of the honey comb hole pattern. Is there a way for you to re-design it so it can be printed under 1hour?

Hi! The honeycomb structure offers the design a little elasticity, because when you hang your desired object, some forces apply on the hanger. If I will make it as a entire shell, in some points of the surfaces will appear gaps and eventually will break. But tell me if you want a completely shell model, and I will add it here! If you want to print it more quickly, try to scale it down on the X and Y axis to your desired dimensions to fit and lower the X-Y hole compensation also!

Hi there, I did scale it down to 60% to 1 hour I fully agree with you regarding the design and the structure, what if you could make the honeycomb bigger, instead of fitting 2 patterns from wall to wall, how about only one 1 but bigger? or maybe a empty space between the walls? make it even more flexible =)

The raindrop design is genius! All others just use clamps, it is cool to see a different design.

It works. On the first attempt, it kinda wiggled off the desk. The second attempt, it seems to be holding. I might look at printing some TPU footing for it to give it a bit more grip.

That wiggle is maybe because of the thickness. And about that grip, the TPU footing sounds great. You can also add some photo when you're doing it so I can see how it went out! Thank you for the idea!
