Description

Rebel Bear

Concept and Inspiration

The idea behind this alternative Care Bear is to take the familiar and friendly concept of the Care Bears and turn it on its head by creating a character that defies norms and expectations. This bear is intended to symbolize rebellion and individuality. His name, "Rebel-Bear," emphasizes his rebellious nature and his desire to stand out from the traditional Care Bears.

Background Story:

Rebel-Bear hails from a world where all bears are always cheerful and conforming. From a young age, he felt different and questioned the rules and expectations imposed upon him. Instead of following the prescribed paths, he chose to forge his own path and find his own identity. The Nike cap he wears was a gift from a human child who inspired him to take pride in his individuality. With his provocative nature, Rebel-Bear aims to show others that it's okay to be different and that rebellion can sometimes be the key to true freedom and self-discovery. It's also okay to say no and not always follow others' lead.

Future Plans:

You are considering creating an entire collection of these alternative bears. Here are some ideas for future characters:

Gangster-Bear:

A bear dressed like a typical gangster, perhaps with sunglasses, a gold chain, and a relaxed yet determined demeanor.

Seven Deadly Sins Bears:

Each bear could represent one of the seven deadly sins, for example, a greedy bear with a huge sack of gold or a lazy bear who is constantly sleeping.

For my next bear, I'm open to ideas and suggestions. If anyone has a concept in mind, feel free to drop comments and suggestions. I'm excited to see which idea gets the most likes!

Note:

Be particularly careful when removing the support, as the cigarette can easily break, which is normal given its size ratio.

Recommendation:
I recommend using needle-nose pliers to remove the support, and any rough spots can be touched up with a scalpel afterward.

Support Settings:
Regarding the support settings: If you set the support to "ONLY CRITICAL AREA," there is a chance that a support tree may break. I have tested both settings.

AMS Color Print File:
Additionally, I am providing an AMS Color Print file. However, I have not printed it as the indicated print time of 17 hours and the generated waste volume of approximately 200 g seem too high to me.

@Maxwellfriedlan The idea with the cigarette is great! Unfortunately, I have to admit that I currently have very little experience with Blender. I still don't quite know how fitting works in Blender. Normally, I use Fusion for my projects, but I'm enjoying sculpting and am experimenting with it. In any case, thank you so much for the wonderful feedback, it really encourages me. More figures are planned. What do you think the theme for the next bear should be?
