Description

I present to you my presentation shelf with compartments. This is the 1st edition which has practical applications for markets and at home for storage.

I do intend to do some small modifications, both on personal use and from you, the Joe public. I intend to use this on my market stalls to present my crafts in a presentable fashion.

I have provided a full prepared immediate print at your discretion. You may chose which insert trays to fill, they are all mix and match. As on the images provided, I've used 15 trays of the 7.5cm x 7.5cm. The 7.5cmx15cm is simply double (length), 7.5cm x 22.5cm triple length and lastly the 15cm x 15cm which is the doubled square. This should be able to accommodate lots of varied items, from jewelry, toys, trinkets etc etc.

Currently, both trays fit together creating a box for all the insert trays. In newer revisions, I will be adding some sort of mechanism/storage to hold all pieces together. (Watch this space)

Contents

To Print -

4 x Base legs with integrated feet.

4 x leg connectors

4 x upper legs

2 x Horizontal Support arms

Lower Tay (Base)

Upper Tray (Lid)

Large customizable Banner Sign

Various insert tray sizes depending on personal preference

NEEDED STRONG SUPER GLUE FOR FIXING OF TRAYS.

SMALL AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATE COLOURED PAINT TO COVER GLUE LINES.

This could in theory be stacked, but I would anchor the feet some how, or this against a wall for added structural integrity.

Instructions

Print all components out required for your personal preference. All the pieces will need support at both the rays and the insert trays have a slight upward curve around the edges. These are easily removed.

The signage Banner, I have placed a demonstration banner, followed by the blank one.

To customize your banner, follow the below instructions. (DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW IF YOU ARE ALREADY AWARE OF HOW TO DO THIS)!

  • Select you customizable banner, then
  • Select the “Text shape” icon at the top on bambu studios. (5th from right currently).
  • Firstly enter your desired name in to the “input text” at the bottom.
  • Then hover your mouse onto the surface of your banner and left click. This will drop the name onto the banner.
  • Feel free to mess with other settings to get your desired font and text size etc.
  • Once complete press the “Text shape”, this will then embody your text to the banner.

Once you have completed this task, we now need to break your banner into two by doing the following. (DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW IF YOU ARE ALREADY AWARE OF HOW TO DO THIS)!

  • Press the cut symbol at the top (roughly in the middle of the menu bar at top of screen).
  • Using the green “swivel”, switch your cut to a horizontal plane, then press "add connectors on the drop down screen.
  • My recommendation for this joint is :- Style - Prizm, Shape - Hexagon, Depth ratio 10.00mm, Size 10.0mm with both tolerance at 0.20mm. This will give your banner good connection, nice and flush.
  • Then on the orange plane of the banner, add two connectors in the middle on either side, illustrated below.
  • Once completed, now press the confirm connectors, then press the perform cut. This will then cut your banner into two peices. You'll have to re-orientate one section to place them both onto the same plate.

The trays I have already cut and they are ready to print. Just the signage banner has to be done yourself, after adding your desired text on the banner.

Once printed large trays, ensure you tape underneath after applying some glue. This will hold the trays firmly in place. Ensure glue is placed into the connection points on both flanks. This will ensure structural integrity and support.

Construction

1 - Use the four base legs and insert through lower tray.

2 - Insert leg connectors on top of base legs.

3 - Place upper legs onto connectors.

4 - Place upper tray onto upper legs which will sit firmly onto leg connectors.

5 - Place on the horizontal support arms either side to offer a rigid structure.

6 - Place your personalized signage onto the horizontal supports, completing your personalized stand.

Apologies for the basic instructions, (not all of us are pros on here) it's not too complicated (though it may appear so), but you may have learnt a thing or two in doing this. Any issues, please leave us some comments and show us your master pieces.
