Description

UPDATE: New Kraken model uploaded.

These are foot replacements heavily influenced by the D3vil Design Pradas.

I made these by request for people with the K1 Max and/or have 270 hinges.

To utilise this, I used Derrick Darrell's excellent wide stance legs clamping method.

These use Voron style heat inserts to attach.

They can screw directly to the frame, but preferably you need to drill the frame holes out bigger to 4 - 4.5mm and screw into the heat set inserts for easy attachment and better grip.

You can print the inserts out in a different colour and use glue to attach them.

BOM:

4X or 8X (depending on attachment method) M3 5x4 Voron spec heat inserts.

4X M3 30mm machine screws.

Optionally:

4 - 4.5mm drill bit.

The original rubber feet and screws are used to attach to them.

Big shout out to the Booty Hole crew and the beta testers: JoeShmoe, Pedrothemagnanimous, Nandr0 and GHoZT.

These came out great! Yet to see stability improvements, but they bolt up nicely and are VERY solid when attached. I opted to drill out the OEM holes a little larger and used heat-set inserts and they feel like part of the frame now. Also as a bonus I remixed mine to be Nike =D

Love this setup, printed more for my other K1 Max. In response to the question about stability - yes it definitely seems MUCH more stable. Thing used to look like it was going to fly off my table while printing. Now it just prints violently =D
