Description

Just in time for summer, it's a squeeze fan!

 

This is an adaptation of my favorite version posted on Thingiverse many years ago, updated for the speed of Bambu printers. You can download updated blades (and gears) if you want an even more powerful version.

 

If spinning too fast, the cover may separate from the case if the pins are too loose. Once everything is working well, I recommend a little glue on the pins to keep everything together.

 

The default print profile is everything you need on one plate in PLA. If you plan on using this regularly in the summer, I recommend using the second profile which has more infill, and used PETG.

Take a close look at photo #3 - it shows all of the gears on the same side, and their proper orientation

我用pla打印的,齿轮中间的那个杆用了几下全断了,还有用的时候按下去不会恢复,就是只能转到180度,然后手动再往前转恢复,不知道是不是我没装扇叶试的原因。打印了几个小时,还没吹就没了,但是设计还是不错的,应该就是材料承受不住。

not the best since it keeps locking up at certain points. this is due to the model not the quality

Several comments about it “locking up, or the gears not moving when you put it together. The tolerances are very tight. You might have something called elephnts foot happening where the first few layers have excessive pressure and expand.. There is a compensation option in bambu studio to combat this - check out the instructions here: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/parameter/elephant-foot

Try PETG or ASA for a more durable fan. - try flipping the middle gear
