Description

Step into the future with the Pointer9000!

To assemble this marvel of wireless precision and retro design you need bambulab's Wireless Mouse Components Kit.

Step 1: Place the laser lens and on-off switch into their respective places on the base

Step 2: Connect the scrolling wheel with the main PCB

Step 3: Place the PCB on the base shell paying attention to the connection points. Lightly press it to align into place but don't put too much pressure otherwise you risk breaking it. It is important to notice the direction of the on-off switch plastic part to make sure it matches/aligns with the PCB (I keep both to the left).

Step 4: Connect the wiring for the battery and place it as shown in the picture

Step 5: Slide the buttons component into the connection rail as shown in the picture until it sits flush with the PCB and the top of the battery compartment.

Step 6: Place the cover element and use two of the included screws to fix it into the base.

Step 7: Insert the battery, battery cover and glue the anti-friction pads that come with the kit.

Step 8: Enjoy your mouse!

Pointer9000 – Where retro meets revolution. Wireless freedom, endless possibilities.

Boosts are appreciated! They help me get filament to prototype and test models like this one!

Cool and great design. I have printed two other designs (ex. Tank mosue) but this one is my favorite, thank you.

Given the size and feel of the mouse and buttons, this has got to be my favorite design. Printed in PLA white and PETG blue/grey for the buttons. The only thing I ask is you please update us with a version 2.0. Cons: Buttons move a bit too freely. Need one more screw hole somewhere as others have said. Other than that this things near perfect and I'll definitely be using it at work. Thank you!

wow! thanks for the feedback! I will do a V2 for sure! what do you mean with buttons moving too freely? are they moving sideways?

They just tend to have a little wiggle in em is all. Not 'super tight' tolerances i suppose. Really just a small complaint in an attempt to strive for perfection lol. Also just a side note, and this is off-topic regarding the design, but i replaced the switches in the original PCB with some clickier ones from Kaihl for more "feedback" if you will. Love them a lot more.

Had to adjust a few things to print with 0.6mm nozzle. Mainly 0.24mm layer height. Transferred all other settings. Flipped the top cover 180 deg so that the seam was facing away from the user. Slowed the print down for the top cover as well because I was getting some sagging issues with my PLA, but fixed that. Printed the mouse buttons in PETG, also 0.24mm. Love it!

cool design, very nice fit. had some tolerance issues because one part warped a bit, but reprinting it solves the issue.:)

Great design! The Bambu mouse kits fits perfectly. Only critique might be to add a third screw on the left above the optical sensor. However, that is being picky and may not fit; and it does work well as is.
