Description

*** BREAKING NEWS ***

ATTENTION: 65 mm long toothpicks & 0.2 mm layer height is required for this version!

*** *** *** *** *** ***

************ UPDATE ************

I'm still collecting suggestions for Version 3. Let me know in the comments if there's anything missing:

1.   65 to 68 mm toothpicks must fit
2.   Container for approx. 100 toothpicks
3.   Design without text and symbols

4.   Shouldn't look like a Chinese coffin, but more like a Porsche

********************************

I love mechanical "Print-In-Place" models. And sometimes I enjoy clicking or screwing things together after printing.

But why shouldn't my 3D printer handle that if it can do it much better than I can...

Inspired by various models and 3D printing techniques, I proudly present my latest creation. After numerous prototypes, your printer should be able to produce this toothpick dispenser without any post-processing or assembly.

I hope this little gadget brings you as much joy as it did for me while developing it.

PS: The version number is written inside. I look forward to your feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Updates will follow...

Mechanischer Zahnstocher Spender – Einteiler, keine Stützen, keine Montage, keine Nachbearbeitung.

really would like one without all the text/graphics, so a clean version would be very much appreciated

I don't know where the finish line is, but thank you for your model, it looks great and has the kind of features that so many people apparently are itching for. You know, that "3D printing magic" where people say "you can print THAT?!" 😁👍🏻 Edit: you know what, I have a boost here that's now yours 🚀

Thank you very much for your boost. And congratulations on reaching the finish line! So, you want to completely delete ALL text and graphics? Let's capture this clearly: 1. Remove "TOOTHPICK". 2. Remove "PUSH". 3. Remove the two “U-Grip lines” below “PUSH”. 4. Remove the three arrows above "PUSH". 5. Remove my designer logo “GmD” from inside the container 6. Remove the version number "V2.64". 7. Remove “Designed by GmD in Switzerland”. Oh man, points 5 and 7 make my heart bleed!

Yes, if the model still has filament threads due to printing, the toothpicks will not roll cleanly into the groove. Or if the toothpicks are not inserted properly, blockages can occur. However, if you clean the model thoroughly after printing, it should work more or less well. Sometimes the toothpicks are not well made and stick together.

Very perfect design. But there seems to be a small problem. If my toothpicks are a little thinner, as long as more than 2 toothpicks are stored in them, they will be squeezed into the slot and unable to come out. Also, no offense intended, I originally wanted to give this to my elders, but was told it looked like a Chinese coffin.

Nice print. Unfortunately the first one did not work well, but then I realized that the filament was not dry enough, so after drying, the second one works great. Capacity could be higher for the next version.
