Description

Would you like to provide a lasting home for our solitary bee friends?
Here's a way to make it happen! This insect hotel was designed after observing that commercial insect hotels don't last long before deteriorating...
So I wanted to create one that would last a long time, while remaining respectful of the environment and wildlife.
The shell was printed in PETG, which is very important because PLA degrades into microplastics over time, whereas PETG is UV-resistant!
Choose light colors to reflect light and avoid baking insects in direct sunlight!

Fill the interior with pieces of bamboo and wood cut into 10cm sections and drilled with an 8 or 10mm drill bit.

You need to use the DXF file to laser cut 3.6mm plywood, which will serve as the face plate.

Hi, I added a stl for it, even if it's better to laser cut it from wood ;-)
