Description

V2. Updated Print Plate added Missing Abs.

I'm excited to share my latest 3D printing project: a custom Wolverine Dummy 13 model! This model is a unique remix combining the efforts of talented creators—featuring a Dummy 13 base, custom claws, and a detailed face mask. Here’s a breakdown of how I brought this model to life and the printing profile I used.

Model Details:

Printing Process: I used my Bambu X1C printer for this project due to its speed and precision, which were crucial for capturing the intricate details of Wolverine’s claws and mask. Here’s the printing profile and settings I used:

Printing Profile:

  • Printer: Bambu Lab X1C
  • Filament: PLA (Color: Yellow, Black and White for claws)

The profile has 4 plates.

  1. Print each plate with or without supports according to the plate title.
  2. Plate with the calves and mask ensure you use brim and tree supports and carefully remove these from the calves, the calves are a challenge but can be done carefully.
  3. Follow Original Dummy 13 video for guidance on assembly.

Additional Notes:

  • Post-Processing: After printing, I carefully removed the supports.

This Wolverine Dummy 13 model was a labor of love, combining the creative efforts of multiple designers and the precise capabilities of my Bambu Lab printer. I’m thrilled with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Feel free to download the STL files and use my printing profile to create your own Wolverine Dummy 13 model. Happy printing!

Your adaptation of wolverine is fantastic. My kids and I love it. I do have one question besides the missing abs... What is the tiny extra part - I printed it in yellow and it's shown in my picture below? I assume it is an alternate neck piece, but couldn't figure out how to make it fit with existing parts very well.

Thanks so much for the feedback!, Yes this little piece gets inserted in the back of the waist and its pretended to be used with stands. like in the attached pic. You can find this stand from @Langa, here: Base: Custom Design (@Langa_) https://makerworld.com/en/models/213718?from=search#profileId-233281

I noticed that as well. We'll just print that separately from the original dummy 13 build. Thanks for mentioning - I thought I was going crazy and was about to blame my son for loosing it, ha ha. We were missing a toe as well, and he did actually lose that one :)

It dose not work for the x1 Carbon it kept on having spaghetti failure every time.

Im sorry you are experiencing these failures, try spraying some hair-spray on the bed, I do this in every print and it helps a lot with bed adhesion. Let me know if this helped? Good Luck,
