Description

This model features two ports designed for filament storage in a "cereal box" style dry box - specifically, cereal boxes like this. The ports allow filament use without removing it from the dry box, maintaining a dry environment. The top port fits into the lid's hexagon and circle indentation, while the front port completes a sealed loop when not in use.

Parts Needed:

4 x M3x8 bolts
1 x M6 Pneumatic Tube Adapter
1 x M10 Pneumatic Tube Adapter
PTFE tubing

Assembly Instructions:

Use the printed parts as a guide to drill 3mm and 6mm holes in the cereal box.
Thread bolts through the holes to attach the inner and outer port parts.
Install pneumatic connectors.
Insert PTFE tubing.

Note: Longer bolts with added nuts can be used for added security, though I found this to be unnecessary with my prints.

Remix Details: Threads have been added to the tubing adapter ports for easier installation.

This fits perfectly on the cereal box from Amazon https://a.co/d/etpbQkg. And paired well with El Jefe remix of the Bambu Lab Cereal Drybox https://makerworld.com/en/models/127336#profileId-138289,

Quick noob question, what is the reason you use both a M10 and M6 tube adaptor? Does it have to do with the direction the filament goes?

The real answer here is: that is what was used in the original design. That said, the larger 10mm pneumatic connector allows for the ptfe tubing to pass through the connector. So, you can feed it inside the box if you wish. Additionally, when you're purchasing the connectors they are often sold in pairs. So, using both can help with that as well. But, it really shouldn't have impact on the direction of the filament.
