Description

All Things STL wine bottle holder: Does require 2 small tree supports. There are two different models one for 200x200 plates and one for 220x220 plates.  If you have a Prusa (or this size printer) print the 200x200 If you have a larger printer then you can print the 220x220 See pics for tree support. Please message me if you have any questions or issues!

Scale to 73% and that works perfectly!

I will upload a remix today. I have the same problem as everyone else, the wine bottle doesn't fit. I did an analysis and it looks like it needs to be scaled to fit a standard bottle. But I will try it out first and give an update here.

You just need to resize the file! It works perfectly based on the size of Printer you have. I have a Voron and a Bambu and I have printed on both. Let me know if you need me to resize it to a certain size I would be happy to do that.

Exactly same thing just happened to. At the same point. Would a bigger brim help with this. I would love to print it again. Can anyone advise please.

It seems like a few others had issues with printing this model. My first attempt failed 25% through because a limb detached from the plate. I add brims and support to one of the extended tentacles, just to be safe. I appreciate the detail in this design and the end product is beautiful. Thank you!

Thank you, amazing model! There was only the one 200 x 200 mm plate here on Maker World, but I found the 220 x 220mm plate elsewhere. First attempt on new A1 failed (a leg piece came off the bed). 2nd attempt I added a couple additional minor supports, bed to extreme overhangs only, and used Elmer's Extra Strength Glue Stick on my stock A1 PEI textured bed. Came out extraordinary and holds a standard wine bottle fine, although snuggly. Now a little modification and maybe it will hold a bottle of Kraken Spiced Rum, which would be fitting!

I didn't read first and now have the version that won't fit a wine bottle. What do you use the small one for?

ok, so there's only one file. If this is supposed to be for a wine bottle, either upload the other file or tell us what to scale it to

You can use the scale tool in your slicer to adjust the STL to fit your printer. If that does not work message me directly the size of your printer and I will adjust it for you!

I had the same issue, a standard wine bottle would not fit at all ( actually broke off an arm when trying to put one in ). Printed just fine. I also did the variable layer height.

I tried 5 diffferent wine bottles and they all fit no problem. You can use more infill or walls to create a stronger print.
