I used this to better organize a large collection of “toy bricks” that came into my possession. It was very useful in separating the technic parts (tend to be smaller) from the traditional bricks, as well as finding some non-brick toys that had gotten mixed in. It was also useful for searching for specific pieces of models that I'm working on re-assembling.
