This design is meant to help/inspire people with 3D printing. As a part of the Printlabs & Autodesk Make:able Challenge, we designed this lift, called "Assist-a-can," to help people with back issues when picking up trash bags.

The whole structure is very easy to build, requiring a 3D printer of the appropriate size and nothing else. Non-3D-printed parts are not needed for the assembly. The design is very modular, and changes can be easily made.

Note that what we built is a working prototype but not a complete finished product. There are still going to be problems. However, our main goal is to spread the idea of helping people in need with resources easily available to us.

This is my first time using the assembly functions extensively in Autodesk Fusion 360, having only used it a few times before. I felt amazed by how much we can accomplish just digitally. Building up the whole thing on my PC was just not something I thought of some time ago.
