The Rikskeff model helped me a lot to improve my knife sharpening results.
However, I missed a few things so I made the following changes/extensions:
- 15° grinding angle for even sharper results.(The angle applies to blades with a width of approx. 80mm)
- Angled ends to avoid contact with the whetstone.
- Narrower versions for thin blades.
- Double-sided design so that the guide does not have to be constantly repositioned.
- Further design to be able to sharpen slim blades (The angle applies to blades with a width of approx. 18mm)
