Description

My tribute to my favorite book of Bruno Munari and my philosophy of life. Thinking confuses ideas is a playful story by Bruno Munari about the possibility of creating an underground city with a very green roof-lawn. The accumulation of inventions and accessories, the excess of artifice leads to the monotony of the perfect with a high rate of pollution. Will we eventually be forced to retreat underground? Munari crosses the modern city and the "Civilization of turnover" with an at times ironic but more often bitter gaze. His reflections make space among the drawings of herbs and green plants by some middle school children. Thinking confuses ideas is part of the "Block Notes" series, created by Munari for Corraini in 1992: a free collection of projects with creative implications. A collection of ideas and examples of artistic work as input for everyone's "game of the intellect", recognizable in its graphic design due to its gray covers, the paperback format and the holes placed on the cover, which encourage the reader to "snoop inside " the book.
