Description

We were testing out our Hexagon Absolute 83 ScanArm in the lab and wanted to try something organic.  We happened to have a crumpled up Taco Bell bag so I scanned it.  The model is solid, but it is recommended to print it in Spiral Vase mode.

nice scan/print. I printed this to test vase mode and it was superb. And in the words of my Girlfriend: "You are now literally printing garbage". SO there's that. Personally I love it.

this turned out better than expected. People in the house are grabbing it like a bag. One of my kids is telling others, "Wow, look how strong they make paper bags these days" and then stacks items on top of the bag. Catches people off guard.

Great coloring and textures. Which filament did you use? Also, it looks like a horizontal stripe pattern, is there some special setting?

I tough that the horizontal lines comes from filament but I was wrong, maybe the filament.. I used the Creality wood filament, maybe some of it's settings? :)

perfect in every way! I dont think you can use it as a vase though given how thin it is. maybe just a display item or lamp shade.

I posted a profile with a 1mm wall that is much more sturdy. check it out if you're looking for a more sturdy print.
