Description
This morning I looked at the excellent Bambu Lab Maker's Supply kit and decided that a tiny turntable needs to exist. Often people want to take pictures or videos of smaller models - like miniatures for example - that are dwarfed by most turntables. So here is the Tiny Turntable you can source entirely here at Makerworld.
I have included an A1 Mini nozzle for scale in the pictures so that you can get a feel for the size. It is a good idea to have a proper hex wrench/allen key without a rounded tip for the build, as the wrenches with rounded tips are really not very good at doing up these screws.

If you order the parts for this build you will have a few spares left over for a future project. There will be one potentiometer, 11 screws, a few small cables left as well as a couple of other small parts to go back in the toolbox. Note that the slowest speed of this turntable is a bit slower than this GIF. I was not able to make mine turn very very slowly, so please bear this in mind.

Assembly
A hot tip for assembly is to use a hex wrench/allen key with a non-rounded tip to insert the screws. The ones with the rounded ends do not work well with these self-tapping screws.
| Find the power distribution board. Note that the board you have received may be a slightly different colour. |  |
| Also find one of these small jumpers in the power distribution board bag. |  |
| Connect the jumper to the pictured port in the power distribution board. Note the orientation of the board with the larger connectors on the bottom. |  |
| Find the motor and the small cable that comes in the box with the motor and connect it to the motor. |  |
| Connect the other end of the motor cable to the lower port pictured here, again noting the orientation of the power distribution board. |  |
| Find the potentiometer board. It also has a small cable included. Plug one end of it into the potentiometer board. |  |
| Connect the other end of the potentiometer cable to the port as pictured. |  |
Place the connected components as pictured. Do not connect the screws at this stage.
Note the orientation of the connector on the potentiometer, as this only goes in one way correctly.
On the power distribution board note the white connectors are facing downwards and the orientation of the ports in the picture.
Please also ensure that the motor is seated completely flat. |  |
| Find the USB cable in the “Power Distribution Board” kit bag. |  |
| Thread the white plug into the turntable base through the square hole in the side as pictured. |  |
Now lift up the power distribution board and connect the white connector to the large port on the lower left hand side as pictured.
Return the power distribution board to its proper place in the base afterwards. |  |
| Find the small cable retainer clip and take two of the screws from the package. |  |
Connect this carefully using two of the screws and ensuring the cable is seated in the indent.
Do not over-tighten and break the clip.
Please also wiggle the cable a little to ensure the retainer is doing its job. |  |
| Take two more screws and connect the power distribution board to the base. |  |
| Find the retainer for the potentiometer. |  |
| Ensure the potentiometer is seated correctly in the indentations then attach the retainer and secure with two more screws. |  |
| Find the motor retainer. |  |
| Install the retainer as pictured using three screws. |  |
Note that the motor drive shaft has a flat edge. Also please look in the lid, and see that the hole in the middle also has this flat edge.
Please now take the opportunity to test the electronics as the lid is hard to get off once attached. The motor should turn when power is applied and the potentiometer is rotated to the correct position. |  |
Before attaching the lid consider that you do not want to push it down too far. Putting something soft and thin in the edges like match sticks may help you not push it down all the way.
Align the two parts as pictured and push down. Be sure to leave a small gap. |  |
| Congratulations, you should now have a working tiny turntable! |  |
