This is a great add-on to the postachio bowl, printed in Bambu Lab translucent PETG olive green.

I modified the top, bottom, and infill to use the Achemedian format, with teh infill set to 25%, to accentuate the shape of the model. I think those tweaks, while there is some some issues with the order in which the rings printedo n the top layer, came out really nice.

The only real problem I had printing it is the AI kept thinking there was an issue due to printing on the kalediscope hologram plate. Well that and there was a blob on the top side that I ha to cut off with a knife, but that face inside the bowel when it is on.

Thank you for making this. If you ever figure out a way to latch it on that would be great. While I am brainstorming how about completing the loop, with the thickness of the wall of the top bowl, so you have a hollow D you can stick your thumb through and carry it with one hand w/o fear that the top would fly off. Does that make sense?

Either way it's pretty awesome now.

I took your model and "remixed it" (more like hack jobbed it) to make the D I tried to explain above. If you are OK with it, I will post it as an alternate version for people to download.

Either way I'm happy to be able to user your lid as a lid with one hand by looping my thumb through it down into the shell hole while I walk with the whole thing.

I noticed when I went to pick up the bowl with the lid on it that I instinctively put my thumb into the opening which was great until the lid started to come up as I walked with it. So I jumped into Bambu Studio and did some duplicaiton and mesh Boolean work to take the same outer ring on the rest of the bowl and duplicate it (and then some) around the gab. The result was now a lid that says in place when I put my thumb through the hole (and subsequently the new “D-ring”). I played with the top and bottom surface patterns as well as infill because I print all of these out of translucent PETG (#1 I have kids who are rough on stuff and #2 I read PETG is “safer” around food). I am sure you could speed it up by resetting them back to the default patterns, but even if you do I still recommend stick with PETG as I'm worried PLA would be too brittle on that small piece. MAD RESPECT for the OG designer for coming up with the original model, and also for giving me the nod to post the “remix” as a print profile here so it's 1 stop shopping for everyone.
