Description

For our vitamin supplements, I wanted small containers to sort into daily portions. I drink a lot of soda from 2 litre bottles and was looking for a use of the caps that are frequently discarded. Using the thread model from Terahurts3D (cults3d.com), I designed and attached bottles. For our own use, I printed two batches of the smallest version, one plain batch, and the other batch with a color stripe. While I was at it, I configured other sizes that might be useful.

The bottle walls are .8mm thick for two passes of a .4mm nozzle.

I printed in Bambu Studio, PETG with:

  • .2mm layer height
  • aligned seams
  • arachne wall generator
  • 10 wall loops (this really makes model solid throughout)
  • concentric top and bottom surface patterns
  • variable layer height
  • no supports
  • auto generated brim

NOTE: these ARE NOT waterproof in the manner I designed and printed them. For our use it was not a requirement.
