Description

If you find this model helpful and enjoy it, consider liking it and following me.

This is a hotend storage box that will hold complete or incomplete hotends for the X1 and P1 series printers from Bambu. The storage box features tight tolerances to hold your hotends and accessories securely and keep everything in order. The Hotend Box will also store your wipers and cutter blades securly as well. Geometric features will also accompany positions to store the hotend bolts, which will also hold the wipers securely in place.

The wiper slots have enough clearance to hold the wiper and screw. Just insert the screw so the flange sits into one of the wiper slits, and it will tuck away neatly.

If you are choosing to hold the hotend fans in the box, just store the wires in the main area. In the pictures, the wires are tucked into the hotend fan geometry, there is a small slot that allows the wires to come out and sit in the main area for this storage option.

Also, there are several lid designs. Some contain machine names while others contain just the Bambu logo. I also have a blank lid for those who like to conserve filament. However, I have included all the lids in the 3MF file, so just select the lid you want and drop it on the plate and print!

The lid was way too tight to be able to close it without making it impossible to open again. If the spaces were slightly higher the lid would work perfectly.

Hey! I am sorry you had this issue. My box functions very well, but I have very well-tuned filaments. Have you tried resizing the box in the Z axis only based on the required mm height (not %) you are looking for? This won't affect the functional geometry of the internals in the box as much as it would accomplish the additional height you are looking for to get the lid clearance you need. Let me know if that works for you.

Also, there are retention features that are a part of the model. See the images. You can file down the areas in yellow on the lid to help it jump over these retainers. That might be what is hanging up the lid.
