Description

Illuminated AMS lite number badge caps- takes advantage of the existing LED light for better visibility.

Works great both in normal and low light areas - see gif/video

2 versions:

1st profile: Inverted for Vertical mounted AMS lites with the cable on the lower position

2nd profile: For Standard Horizontal mounted AMS lites

Availbale For 2 or 3 color versions.

BEST printed on these settings ( success not guaranteed outside of these suggested settings)

PLA filament

0.16mm layer

Arachne

0.4 nozzle

50 bed temp to avoid warping of the thin white layer part. ( !! Important)

white filament on designated illuminated area

Solo profile for each badge numbers are included on the profile list

When using the provided model/print profile, the numbers are all upside down when installed on the AMS.

new to makerworld? there is a non upside down version, just look at the other profiles available, next time, ask, trigger happy take it easy on the the stars there,

No indication in the description that the numbers were inverted, so didn't think to expand the profile list and look for another version. The snarky direct message was unnecessary too, rating stands.

I love the look, but they are upside down? I was thinking my AMS was upside down, but the original stickers are right side up. maybe it's just past my bedtime.

my ams lite is mounted vertically and so the cable entry point is placed lower for better cable management. For your, you can try turning your ams from its stand so the numbers will not be upside down from your perspective.

perfect blackout LED covers with both colors black, but a faint white/red led does shine through when you need to use it and I bet a crazy modification with grated slits could allow light to only passthrough for someone moving over like standing over but not shine light to your ceiling etc ...but this works just fine for now as a blackout cover when u just select black for both colors or any dark color I'm assuming

these printed well and fit perfect. they don't glow super bright though because it covers up the light with a few layers so you can't really see the light during the daytime. but the fit and finish are nice if you like the look. My printer smeared or messed up the number 3. I don't know what that's all about I guess it's just because the white is so thin that it raked it off and drug it around just a hair. but I don't know that that's a design problem I think that's just my printer choked...
