Description

This is a spool adapter for using the small spools in the AMS. It works with Sunlu, and from what I hear it also works with most other popular brands. It was made for the 250g spools, but it should also work well with any sample spools that have smaller outer diameters than this adapter.

a lot of filament, but necessary for the weight of the spool adapter. good settings, everything fits perfectly

Thanks! I agree. It's a lot of filament, but like you said the weight is key. I tried a lighter version, but its just not functional. Thanks for the feedback!

I LOVE these! Easy to print, does the job and also works with cardboard spools! Made 3 colorful ones and 1 black one (currently in use)

I tried the AMS inserts and none worked with the 250g spools I had, so I printed this out and it's attached to a spool and running a print right now. This is the third model I've printed from this designer. I somehow keep running into his designs when looking for specific things to print. So far I've printed the AMS riser, the Cyclocaster, and now this spool adpater, all of which are brilliant designs. So, thanks for your contributions.

A little narrow and need some sort of center piece for some spools, to prevent off center wobbling. I wish we had some spacers and compatibility with some other 250g spools, not just sunlu.
