Description

What better way to pass the time while you're waiting around with your keys than with a fidget toy!

 

This is a simple print-in-place model, and no supports or brim should be required. Note that if you want to use a regular key ring with this model (such as is shown in the pictures), you'll want to use a larger version (at least 3 cm in diameter) - as smaller versions will be hard to attach.

I designed this model from scratch for a key tag competition, but I'm noting this as a remix of NicoConex's cool gear fidget from which I gained some inspiration. I hope you enjoy!

Printed a couple and its smoothness seems to depend on the material, though I used PLA for all. If you find it stiff, try again with another one

I love the idea and the print is a functional fidget, but putting it onto a keyring is difficult. Great tool to explain how gears work.

I’m not sure what’s going on but I’ve tried this models 4 times with different beds and filaments but it seems to fail each time. as if it’s hitting the print and dislodging it. I’ll try again but not from the Handy app and see if that helps
