Description

This is an adapter to use cheap zip ties as trimmer blade. It was made for a "Güde Rasentrimmer 250/18 RT Set", but this kind of blades is also used from other trimmer brands like Bosch.

If this thing works for you, pleas leave a commend which trimmer you are using.

Print instructions

I recommend to print with Nylon or PC, but ASA should also work. The original blade is "PA06", which means Polyamid, also known as Nylon.
Print with 4 perimeters and 100% infill.

The small one has the diameters 5.55 / 9.5 mm

The bigger one has the diameters 7.1 / 11.6

Excellent idea! Would you maybe post the diameters of the two main bores? Would make it so much easier to check for me. Another comment: Quality zip ties are also made from PA6. For hot environments, there is also PA6-6 available, which is a tad more durable even, which makes them a perfect replacement for the task at hand!
