The Figure Fucking Windmill.. need I say more?

 

!!!!UPDATE / EDIT!!!! Connector link v2 isnt gonna work!  You need Connector link V3!!    SO if you downloaded and printed it arleady, please download the single raw file version of link v3 and use it!!!  my bad!! 

YOU WILL NEED 2 BEARINGS FOR THIS MODEL!! 608 Roller Bearings!!!  YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO PURCHASE SOME M2x8 screws for the arms etc.  This makes life so much nicer!! 

 

So this is a remix of a remix.. Why? well because I found it to be a pain in the butt when assembling.. glue sucks..

 

SO I modified the arms and whatnot to be able to use tiny screws.. holes are m2.. so grab some tiny screws and see what fits best for you. Adding holes will also allow you to easily open the outer holes on the arms and make clearances etc. Heck.. you could prolly glue a piece of filament in there too if you wanted to make it fit and hold together? GUess thats up to your discretion. Also found a couple heights that needed to be modified and spacing etc. fixed that.

 

Next I changed the base to accept 608 bearings. 608 is the most common bearings around.. They prolly sell em at walmart in the skateboard/bike section ill betcha. lol So I modified base to take 608 bearings and then modified the fan shaft to fit the 608 bearings.. Tired of me saying 608 bearings yet? hahaha. Also added some screw holes and ziptie grooves for various mounting options.. (no pun intended..)

 

Also added a part called the "propeller fan shaft collar". This slides on the fan shaft once fan shaft is slid into bearings and prevents it from backing out the front of the mount. Its basically a locking ring that holds the propeller shaft from backing outta its home once assembled.

 

I also modified the eccentric link. it was off a pinch based on the model I downloaded. at full stroke (hahahaha…) it pulled UPWARDS on the properller shaft and would cause binding etc… not cool..

 

on the female model part.. I opened the rear opening… (hahahahaha…) had to… the ramming device (LOL!!) would sometime have a collison with the side walls or the surrounding area (OUCH!) due to how the overall model was made.. so… needed more clearance.. tadah, done!

 

In the mini section…I added a mini propeller. It'll print just fine on the a1 mini machines or others with a bed size of 180x180x180.

working on the last part now. my printed bearings are going to need a little work won’t fit in. a little sanding they will
