Tired of the magnet pulling the gate closed as you try to put the hot end in?
So was I! The problem is you have to tilt the hot end to load the extra bit of filament in.
This cutter trims that filament. Now you won't have to angle the hot end and the gate won't close on you.
This is a simple but does the job - This design isn't sprung, there's no force multiplier, (it's all you).
For ease of use i've included a small lever to retract the blade.
IT uses the spare cutter blades that come with the printer.
Printing and assembly should be straight forward.
No supports needed, spent a while ensuring this but let me know if you have any issues.
