Description

Simple setup blocks for woodworking in the Metric system. Several common types of wood thicknesses (6mm, 12mm, 18mm) are included as well as more generic ones. I included 1.45mm because that is the thickness of my saw blade. Blocks can be combined to gauge most sizes (for instance 1mm + 4mm for a 5mm gauge). I made this because the others I could find didn't really appear to be optimised for 3d printing nor for the AMS.

It is possible to print without the AMS, just load in the step files in Bambu Studio and remove the name object. Then you'll have an indented version.

Make sure to print on a non-textured build surface and make your layer size a multiple of the total. Also I prefer to put the name-side down, it'll eliminate any unwanted bulges. The 3mf files I've included all already do this. 0.5 and 1.45 are separate because they have to be printed with different layer sizes.

On my X1C the tolerance apears to be about ±0.03mm, so not too shabby.

nice print thanks, I printed the 0.5 and the other blocks. I did also the holder, but the first slot doesn't fit the 0.5. The second slot does nicely. The second slot doesn't fit the 1mm block either. My tollerances for the blocks are spot with my calipers.

hmm that is surprising, as you can see in the image, they fit fine for me. I also modelled those with a fairly big tolerance, so they should not even be that snug. Just to be sure, are you trying the right holes? Otherwise I'm unsure, since the blocks apparently print correctly for you, so I wouldn't expect it to be uncalibrated filament for example.

I am pretty sure its the right hole only one in the front to the farleft. I am using a hot bed plate not a cold so that maybe the issue too.

I doubt it, I also use a hot plate at least. Only other thing I can think of is to use the hole compensation feature in Bambu studio.
