Quick Question; I printed this prob a month or so ago for my kiddo and it turned out great. Yesterday I printed one for a friends daughter but the bottom layer where the colors meet is very thin and separated in some areas. Around the eyes and some of the dark blue on the head. There is a visible gap with light behind it. Printed twice to see if it was just a fluke. I have just used the profile both times. Any idea what I can do to correct it. Bambu Lab X1c is up to date. Calibrated. Did flow calibration.
This is weird that it printed great the first time... maybe an elephant foot compensation is on that wasn't before? I did put the flow of filament up to 1.04, I imagine that transfers over too, though.
Yea I felt the same way. The white areas you see is where it is separated. The first one didn't print that way. I realize the profile is most likely unchanged. I figured it had to do with my machine or the filament maybe. Could it be that I used a textured plate instead of a cool plate? If I'm not careful I can basically pop out the different parts. Thank you for responding and the model. Im sure it's something to do on my end.
I'm going to be thickening the faceplate as soon as i get caught up on some more projects, as i feel its is fairly thin compared to my newer ones, but if you know how to scale the individual color sets, maybe go to -1mm each layer. You'd have to do each one individually to not accidently mess up the walls, that might help some. I did hear about an issue with an update changing some plate types from what they were and that it was causing some issues
