Description

Add a touch of Elven magic to your next game night with this dice tower. Inspired by the graceful lines of Elven cities. It fits your standard 20mm dice and it delivers a smooth, satisfying tumble every time. It might fit larger dices.

It can be printed without supports. I tried to be careful about the little details that make it easy to print without the need of supports. Steps are angled to ensure a smooth roll but also to allow more tumbling.

You can also scale it down to make it smaller and save material. It will still fit standard 20mm dice at 85% but it will be a tighter fit.

This project was harder than I expected, it's outside my comfort zone. It took more tries than I would like to admit. It took several trial and errors to get it just right, as you can see here:

Huge thanks to X's users gonecozy, 3D_Musketeers, kwalddesign, 2ndLayerPrintin, stefjohnzz and MartinSirakov3 for their amazing support and feedback – this tower wouldn't be the same without you! You can find the thread that helped me fix some issues I was having with this design here:

Printed with bronze filament. It printed without any issues and the parts fit well

I used Bambu Lab Bronze PLA Basic filament for the tower and marble PLA for the base.

The top failed to print twice, each time one of the columns snapped. The roof luckily survived. And why is the bottom 2 parts seems like needless gluing.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. The columns are not the easiest print, I had trouble with some filaments that had higher melting points. You can try with a higher temperature or lower speed. And the bottom is 2 parts since I thought maybe some people might want to use it without the secondary part. What filament did you use in the prints that failed?

Hi! Sorry to hear that! Could you share more details about the issue you had? Maybe it could be something easy to solve on settings, it's not an easy print but its not too difficult either =)
