I designed the FrameGuard after my own experiences with basic wooden photo frames from Wilko and Amazon. While these frames are cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing, their durability leaves much to be desired. They are prone to damage, especially if they fall from the wall.
 

The FrameGuard is engineered to not only repair but also enhance the durability of these frames. Despite slight deformations from damage, the frames I tested — five sets in total — all fit well into the FrameGuard, although frames with significant damage may require a bit of patience to install. The result is not only the photo frame is more durable but also they look even more classic than the original photo frames.
 

What is this frame for?
This frame is designed to reinforce standard photo frames that measure approximately 23cm x 18cm x 3cm, helping to prevent further damage and prolong their lifespan.

Width: 23.4cm
Height: 18.4cm
Depth: 2.9cm
Wall Thickness: 2mm
 

Tips for installation:
1. Start by aligning your photo frame's four corners with the FrameGuard's corners. Pay close attention to the frame's front and back orientation. If your existing photo frame is damaged or deformed, you might need to squeeze the corners into the frame. You do not need to glue or tape the frame before you squeeze it into the frame.
2. Turn the photo frame around and gently use your hands to push the corners of the photo frame into the FrameGuard, adjusting bit by bit until the entire frame is securely encased.
