Folding mobility scooters (such as the Luggie) are often difficult to attach a cup holder to, and large cup holders can get in the way when the scooter is folded.

This cup holder secures itself around the bottom section of the steering shaft (1¼"/32mm) and will support a cup even without the bolt fitted (can be seen in the photo with the red coloured Luggie). The TPU adaptor can be used to fit the cup holder onto the top section of the steering shaft (1"/25mm) - but this will limit the folding ability of the scooter.

Two cup holders give some more flexibility and can remain in place when the scooter is folded.

Fitting the cup holder

With the split section of the cup holder facing away from you, place your hands around the large ring and your thumbs into the cup hole. Stretch open the split section and place onto the scooter steering shaft. Use your fingers to squeeze the locking tabs of the split section together while pulling your thumbs outwards (trying to make the cup holder part a larger circle). Once the locking tabs click into place the cup holder will remain in place. Fit the bolt and nut for added security.
