Description

I saw a video from Adam Savage talking about a spray paint can shaker and I thought this was genius. I designed one for my needs

I uploaded two models, one with a 2mm offset that shakes the can laterally but I don't think this is needed, so I also included the no_offset file

These are for the standard 67mm can should you need a different size please let me know and I will upload it for you

You will need a M10 x 35mm (or longer) bolt

I printed mine in PETG but PLA will do nicely

No Offset PETG

The no offset version works fine. Printed PLA and PETG - PETG is definitely the way to go. The design is a snug fit on the modern version of Rustoleum. A few of my older cans were a no-go (they probably ought to be binned anyhow). On the PLA version, the modern Rustoleum could barely be forced in an inch, which made removing the can awkward. The PETG version bottomed out and removed without difficulty. M10x50mm fit my drill better. Added a nylon lock nut just to keep the bolt in place.

Thank you for the rating and the thorough review, I appreciate it ! I printed both the offset and no offset version. With the offet one of my drill gives an error code if I go full speed whereas the other is very smooth. I don't have ways to test, but I'm sure the difference between the two is very little if at all If you need some other diameters please let me know and I will publish different models !
