This is a fix for VECELO bed to keep the mattress from slipping over the edge and to keep the support rails in place, because they do easily bounce out their place from normal use with even with the mattress on top of all the rails.

print file “home depot bed clips” and “home depot bed clip B” in equal numbers probably about 20 each to capture all of the loose frame rails and provide an edge stop for mattresses so that they do not slide off the sides of the bed frame.

The first part nests inside of the other one.
print all parts on the side that allows for the printer to make closed loops around the holes for maximum strength and minimum build supports/brims.

I printed mine in JAYO mate PLA which is pretty weak an with a good amount of wall loops mine are plenty strong. for the head board clips you can use 15% infill. and enough loops that the outside perimeter and the wholes have connecting walls.

the head board clips are for mattresses that are thin enough that they would slide under the head board. if you have a really really thick mattress you probably don't need the head board clips.

print as many head board clips as you want. I printed four and I mirrored two of them so that the dove tail parts face each other on each side of the bed for attaching a holder for night time snacks, valuables or emergency equipment (to be added in another design)

I printed all parts intentionally tight so you will have to force the two parts together and they will be tight on the support rails also. I did this so that they will not squeak or make any noise.

you can use a hammer and a block of wood to make them go together.
