Description

Summary

i dropped my magazine in a game and my baseplate went one way and my mag spring went the other, i managed to retrieve both of them, however i could not find the baseplate button, so i quickly designed a new one, its basically a 1:1 copy of a EU series button but i added the notch for the retention pin that the SSP18 uses, otherwise it doesn't stick out enough for the button to be used, it works well enough and time will tell if its strong enough (i didnt have anything other than PLA to hand since im waiting for deliveries)

you could of course just buy the spare parts from novritsch's website at here but that could take days or weeks to deliver and you have to buy the spring and follower too and it could instead be printed for a lot less

i printed the one in the photo with the side you see facing down, there is a gap between that piece and the body so i recommend printing with supports, i used PVA for supports to make them a lot easier to remove, this was printed on a bambulab P1S with AMS unit at 0.08mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle using red marble PLA and PVA water soluble support material
