Dragon Mum - Legendary Mothers's Day Dragon
Meet the true mother of dragons! This is a gift for all the legendary mums who read us epic adventures and tales of magic and fire-breathing dragons. Happy Mother's Day!
Mother and baby dragon with detachable base plate and crystals.
Material: Bambu PLA Matte Pink for the base plate, PLA Silver for the dragon and baby dragon and PETG Translucent Light Blue for the crystals.
Print recommendations: Designed as a single colour profile. Full colour coming soon! Recommend setting seam position to back as per 3MF file. Dragon and baby are designed to be print-in-place. Crystals and base plates are printed separately.
Supports: Yes. Supports required - Enable tree (auto) supports and set to “on build plate only” in the Bambu slicer.
Use fine tweezers to remove supports - take caution removing supports around tiny toes.

The crystals: Generally the crystals will fit in any of the base plate holes however some were designed to tilt at a slight angle for best effect I recommend matching the printing order to the base place holes. See below.
NOTE: Update as of June 2025 - I have fixed an issue with the position of the dragon on the plate, was causing printing problems on some printers.
If you are having issues with the default print profile for the dragon, try increasing g initial layer line to .4
adding brim putter only at 8 mm and/or repositioning the base of the dragon to cut a small layer from the base.
