seems to work great for now. finally understand what the maker means by lock the box open. see second photo. insert it in (I'm not sure if I put it inside-out but it was hard to fit it in the other way) to the hole at the hinge to stop your lid from opening 180 degrees. I would consider this being locked open at ~90 degrees instead of 45. P.S. a bit top-heavy because of the lip around the edge of the lid. But you could use it upside down if you wanted.

This is a great print !I printed the original one and turned out perfect. I tried to scale it to the size of a dollar bill to make it a gift box but it didn't work out. I'm new at scaling. Feel like I'm still learning. Thank you for sharing.

Hi if you scale it you will change the allowance so maybe it wont work if you scale too much.

You put it inside the hole in the hinge if you need to lock the box at 45 ° open . Good prints
