Description

I made this model to support the filament going into the PTFE tube when using an external spool on the P1 series printers. When I was printing from a drying box I could see the filament tension pulling down the PTFE tube and connector that goes into the back of the printer and it looked like over time that would prematurely wear the connector and the grommit where the tube goes in.

This bracket replaces the external spool holder that comes with the printer using some longer M2.5 screws that screw right in place of the spool holder.

You'll need one 608 bearing (I used a 608-2RS) that you place into the pulley then fit the bearing over the bracket and secure in place with the c-clip.

I printed the section of the bracket that screws into the printer at 100% infill and the rest at 20% honeycomb, and the c-clip and pulley at 100%.

STL files and the Bambu Studio file with the settings I used are uploaded.
