I recently started playing with the Honeycomb Storage Wall (HSW) and I bought a set of hex screwdrivers from Wera to do some maintainance on my Bambu X1C 😁

So obviously I immediately started to design something that would contain my Wera tools with a nice snug fit.

Print Settings

• Material: PLA
• Nozzle Size: 0.40mm
• Layer Height: 0.20mm
• 3 top / 3 bottom / 2 walls
• 15% Gyroid infill
• Supports Enabled
• Brim not needed
• Print in the orientation of the file

In the below picture you will see where to add supports that I found work best.

In my slicer (Bambu Studio) it also wanted to support the text on the front of the block, but I found that my X1C does a pretty good job with that little overhang and will print the icon and text just fine, so I made sure to prevent supports anywhere else on the model.

Multi-Colour Print

I intended for these prints to be multi-colour where the Hex icon and the number are in blue to match the colour of the handle of the Wera screwdriver. I uploaded a .3mf file where I have pre-painted the hex and numbers.

I used PolyTerra PLA (Charcoal Black & Sapphire Blue).
