This is a version of my popular “Door holder handle latch” which, rather than snap on the stock door handle, replaces it entirely using the two screws that hold the original door handle on. It takes less than 2 minutes to fit. This is great for people where the tolerances of the original design were too tight on their stock handle.
The Bambu Wiki recommends you keep your door and lid open when printing in low-temperature filaments such as PLA and TPU, however, the door can then swing about and is liable to be knocked further open risking damage or closed by mistake. It also swings about when printing fast which cannot help print quality.
By securely latching the door open this simple and quick print addresses these concerns, while keeping the stylish look of your printer.
I've been told it is also great for keeping curious cats out :)
Here are some comments for happy customers from the V1 snap on design:
“wow wow wow this model is a dream come true we printed it with eryone tricolor PLA. Turned out beautiful and will be using this for quite a while.”
“love it! They work really well!”“printed perfectly. I use it everyday!”
“A truly elegant and functional design”
“This is one of the most well done, useful mods for the X1-C I've used”

EDIT: - this has been updated to ever so slightly increase the height of the handle so it does not touch the side of the printer as per a commenter.
