Description

This my own take on travel case for BetaFPV Pavo20

I tried make the case compact and make all the spaces usefu:

There are 3 versions of different height:

Standard Version:

this version features a big battery storage space (6 pcs) under the quad, and 4 pcs on the mid section.(assume the batteries are 450mah)

This version is for ppl having a lot of batteries and spare parts

Parts to Print:

Pavo20BaseStd

Pav20Mid

Pavo20CaseCapV2

Clips

Slim Version:

Some how I feel the standard version is too big, so I modified it to this slim version, removed all the under quad battery space. Only 4 batteries can be stored.

Slim Version is low profile, but only hold 4 batteries

Parts to print:

Pavo20BaseSlim

Pav20Mid

Pavo20CaseCapV2

Clips

FlippedSlimVersion:

After using both previous version, I feels the 2 previous designs is kind of annoying when I just want to open one layer. And the center of mass is pretty high causing the case to tip over when opened. So made a new version to have all the batteries on the bottom , and flipped the quad upside-down to save space.

Parts to print:

Pavo20BaseSlim V2

Pavo20CaseCapV2

Clips

OtherParts:

All the hinges and clips using M3 screws and nuts:

M3x30 screw : 8

M3 lock nuts : 8

Thanks for creating this model, would you be willing to add another version of your Pavo20CaseCapV2? I have a GepRC DarkStar20 which is very similar to the Pavo20 the issue is that on the bottom there is a battery holder which when I printed the BaseSlim v2 & CaseCapV2 is just over .37" short.

Just added a version of capv2, extending the top for about 10mm. Since I didn't test print this one, There's no guarantee it will fit your quad. PartName: Pavo20CaseCapV2_Extend10mm.step

@sccdsix Thank you for the modified model fits "LIKE A GLOVE"! My GepRC Darkstar20 is now in a protective case while traveling.

I'm trying to make this work as I cannot understand why the mid section has hinges for the m3 screws. I cannot get anything to align like the pics in the description without a massive gap. I noticed when I download right to Bambu Studio, I see what in the screen shot below which the labeled mid section is actually a bottom as you can see hinges. If you download the STL or 3MF, you get the correct mid section. The print quality is amazing and thank you!

Excellent print, although I don't have a PAVO20, the creator added a new model so I could fit my GepRC DarkStar20 in the case. Much KUDOS!!!

very nice design but since I use walksnail with original antenna then I need 20mm more height for flippedslim version. I tried to scale but seem the hole was scaled as well and not perfect circle anymore. Is it possible to add height to your model? Thanks

You can try slicing the case into 3 parts and scale the mid part in Z axis. This will stretch some patterns but at least the holes are are still round.
