Description

3D model remix of a historical flintlock pistol, intricately crafted to showcase the artistry and engineering of a bygone era.

This model is printed using three different filaments, offering a realistic appearance with distinct materials enhancing each part.

The body of the pistol is made with a Woodfill filament, treated with a wood impregnant to give it an authentic wooden look and feel.

While this model highlights the possibility of using multiple filaments for varied textural effects, it can also be effectively printed using just a single filament. This flexibility allows both novice and experienced 3D printing enthusiasts to customize the model to their preferences.

Additionally, this model has been adapted for simple 3D printing with an easy assembly process. No glue is required for assembly as the two pieces of the body hold together well under the pressure exerted by the barrel. However, vinyl glue is recommended for a more permanent and sturdy assembly. Original model available for free on Grabcad by Ivan Spasić

It’s perfect for Halloween! I printed in black and grey to facilitate painting.

Greatest home defense weapon against the red coats! Joking of course, but also very cool upload. I printed the body in Polymaker Chocolate PLA, the brass I opted for SUNLU PLA Silk Gold, and for the barrel, I used SUNLU PLA Silk Silver. Great print, supports were difficult in SOME spots to get out. Mine seen a little warping happening around the upper frame, but I also modified the file so oh well. Overall fantastic upload and will be great for pirate weekend at the ren faire!

What a fun print! I used all three plates as is and used Elegoo PLA+ Brown and Black. Had luck with first time print on all three plates coming out great. Wiped all parts with acetone and lightly buffed with steel wool. Painted brass parts in Rustoleum "Sunlit Brass" Parts fit great only needing some glue here and there. Thank You! Definitely worth the boost!

printed on my A1. Had some fitment issues but was able to do a little sanding/trimming to make it work. Nice little prop.

A little bit of fitment issue but not very noticeable as a costume piece

sections where the supports touched didn't come out as nice as I would have liked but no issues removing the supports. parts fit together easily as well.
