Originally intended for the Lexus NX cargo/trunk cover but may work for other models.

This clip prevents the folding trunk cover from accidently coming loose when you bump it. The cover would keep folding onto itself whenever I bumped it while taking stuff out. This clip locks the hinge so it won't fold.
