I have x-acto #11 blades and the tolerance on the slots is much too tight, I can't get them to fit even with a bit of cleanup. The base of the slot looks like it needs to be wider edit: printed the updated version and my blades now fit nice and snug

I don't know why with some brands of blades the gap is so narrow. I have just updated all the profiles and the design to accept larger blades. Can you print it again? Now maybe you need a drop of instant glue in the base of the blade. Thank you so much.

doesn't work well for some reason with standard pla on x1c the gap is to tight to fit a #11 blade

I really dont know why doesn't work in your printer. Maybe the tolerance of the printer? try if you want slicing with -0,10 X-Y contour compensation. I'm going to check the design for any export defects. i'm so sorry for the waste of filament.

I was having this issue but just slowly pushed the blade down while warming the tight side with a torch. Be sure to use needle nose plyers for safety. Not perfect but will get the job done snd that's all I want.

that or maybe the brand blades I used even though they say the right number on them are bigger

Maybe -0,10 X-Y contour compensation? each brand of filament is different and has its own configuration
