Came out really nice and works perfectly. I only wish it was just slightly easier to hold. My fingers always want to wrap around and sometimes stop the spring mechanism, but other than that, really fun to play with and you do get used to how to hold it after awhile.

Hey I made a print profile for a back cover if you want to give it a shot! I had the same experience haha. I kept getting my hand in the way on accident

Came out great. I also did a quick and dirty modification in the slicer to close it off on the end.

did you use pla ? because there is the same problem for the normal size to. What I do is I bend the latches just a little bit so they stay on longer before it detaches but not to much because there will be friction

I did use PLA first but I printed the spring with petg and it made it a little stronger

that is not what i mean, i was talking about the latches, do you notica how they are bent? i did that because they didn't have the right angle and they were slipping out too early. The spring is not important.

Had some issues with the posts breaking on the spring part, he quickly made some modifications to it and works much better now!

I printed the plate “with guidance”. This is a much improved design over the original one, especially with the comb. The added track and guide tab really allow the hooks to catch securely. When only printing one blade or comb, there is enough room on the plate to print by object and get a convenient multi-color print without the waste.

Ha ha ha, I changed the knife model into a comb model, so that it may be safer for children (my son insisted that I make one for him)

I've printed quite a few of these but this is my latest. Wanted a nice little measuring tool to keep on me while I'm working on projects so I whipped this up. Love this model.
